Help Baby Mia

I got the the Y today for Gabe's swim class (more on that later) and discovered a big table covered with baked goods, tremendously yummy looking baked goods, and a board talking about baby Mia. Mia is the daughter of one of the teachers at the Y, she is about two months old (I believe) and was born with a congenital heart defect that requires she have a heart transplant. Friends of her parents are holding a bake sale all this week at the Mel Korum YMCA to raise funds for her transplant and other medical expenses.

Please visit the Y (even if you're not a member you can buy a cookie, the Snickerdoodles were awesome!) and give yourself a treat whilst helping a family in great need.

Or you can visit Baby Mia's blog and donate there.

Whatever you do, please pray for little Mia and her family and, should a donor be found, the donor's family as well.
